Problem Statement

Currently, agents can’t search by fare type and NDC always returns the cheapest of Negotiated and Non-Negotiated products

NDC also shows some non-negotiated fares as negotiated fares which makes it impossible for agents to identify commissionable fares and fares that can be marked up. 

Feature Hypothesis

It allows agents to shop by fare type and to identify the correct fare type.

Acceptance Criteria  

  • Ability to shop for Negotiated fares only

  • Ability to shop for Non-negotiated fares only

  • Ability to shop for both Negotiated fares and Non-negotiated in one call

  • Ability to chop for cheapest from both Negotiated fares and Non-negotiated products only

  • Ability to identify correct fare type in AirShopping API response (except when asking for the cheapest fare)
