Disruption Handling - Disruption Notification (See Release Note)
Order Change Notifications provide BA with the ability to send messages to inform Travel Agents/Service Providers in an unsolicited manner of involuntary changes to Orders, for instance, schedule changes. BA will send the OrderChangeNotif message to Travel Agents/Service Providers who have subscribed to receive these messages. The OrderChangeNotif message will be sent for disruption events (both planned and operation events).
BA will send the OrderChangeNotif message for the following disruption events:
Flight Time change - If the change is 11 minutes or above
Flight number change
Re-accommodation for Operational cancellation
Re-accommodation for Delays
Depending on the type of disruption BA may or may not have rebooked the disrupted flight on to an alternative flight.
Action types are also used in the OrderChangeNotif message to identify which Order Items have been removed from the Order (Action Type “Cancel”) and which have been added to the Order (Action Type “Create”).
Seller follow-up actions will also be displayed in the OrderChangeNotif message to identify the allowed actions on the booking after disruption.
The messages published contain the following details:
Booking reference (PNR)
Disrupted flight segment details
New (rebooked) flight segment details
E-ticket details with passenger association
Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) details with passenger association
Prepaid excess baggage details, if any
Paid and free meal details, if any
Paid and free seat details, if any

Sublive Disruption Manager (ndc-sdm) provides Travel Agents the ability to disrupt the bookings they have created in order to receive the OCN. BA will send the OrderChangeNotif message to Travel Agents/Service Providers who have subscribed to receive these messages.
NDC to provide a new API for any agent who wish to test the end to end disruption process - by disrupting the orders they have created, re-accommodating passengers and receiving order change notifications. Agents can access the API via Sandbox or their own tool to carry out testing of NDC API's. This requirement extends the features available in the NDC Booking tool to include:
Disrupt the Orders, they have created - Re-accommodating a customer to a different flight
